Tee.F.Dee to take place May 21 to 23, 2026 at BCCK

KUCHING, 23 April 2026: The Friendship Diplomacy or Tee.F.Dee 2026 will be happening at the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK) from May 21 to 23, 2026, and is set to become a multi-industry platform that unites art, technology, craft and trade in a single event, bringing together international professionals in the fields of crafts, audio visual lighting technology, live art as well as music software and hardware.
This was announced earlier today by the Minister for Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts Sarawak, Dato Sri Haji Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah during a press conference in Kuching. “This event is the first of its kind, and is a collaboration between Sarawak and the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in Indonesia.”

Jointly organised by The Sophie’s Choice and Kaizen Quality Events, Tee.F.Dee is built around 4 main components, namely:
Southeast Asia Merchant Expo (SEAMEX)
The Southeast Asia Merchant Expo, the region’s newest professional audio-visual exhibition. Set to be a high-impact platform for business, networking and next-gen solutions across Southeast Asia, SEAMEX will see international exhibitors showcasing the latest technology in professional audio, camera, lighting and visual systems, as well as instruments on Level 2 of BCCK. Entrance is free.
COLLAB-HUB
COLLAB-HUB is your all-access pass to the ultimate art and music technology playground. Visitors will not only have the opportunity to get their hands on next-level software and hardware, but also jam, explore and collaborate with creators from around the globe. From digital music sessions by David Klein and immersive workshops on digital installations, motion graphics and interactive art to collaborative sessions on digital art, COLLAB-HUB is your new creative HQ, and will take place at BCCK Level 2. Entrance is free.
CRAFT-XHIBITION
Happening at Level 1 of BCCK, the CRAFT-XHIBITION by Sarawak Craft Council promises a next-level exhibition, with a lineup of international exhibitors bringing their A-game. From streetwear and cultural fusion like caps, sunglasses, hip-hop attire with Dayak arts, painted sneakers and upcycled pieces to heritage crafts like batik, pearl jewelry and wooden handicrafts, the CRAFT-XHIBITION is not one to miss. Entrance is free.
Beatroot Festival
Kuching is set to transform into a global stage for rhythm and soul, with the sounds of smooth R&B, chart-topping pop, hard-hitting rap and pulsing DJ sets. Described as a cultural collision of sound, style and swagger, the Beatroot Festival will see performances from the likes of Brian McKnight, Juan Reza, Alyph, SonaOne, Layla Sania and Shigga Shay. Full lineup to be announced by the organisers in due time, with ticket prices starting from RM195.
