KUALA LUMPUR, 13 May 2026: TIN Media will be hosting the Asian Tourism & Hospitality Awards 2025–2026 tomorrow, in a landmark regional ceremony that will recognise outstanding achievements across Asia’s tourism and hospitality industry — bringing together distinguished industry leaders, nominees and award recipients from nine countries for an evening dedicated to celebrating the very best the region has to offer.
Now in its second edition, the awards have grown significantly in scale and regional reach. This year’s programme drew more than 250 nominees from nine countries across Asia, collected over 100,000 public votes throughout the voting period, and will see more than 60 winners recognised across categories spanning accommodation, destination management, hospitality services, tourism innovation and leadership.
The first edition established the awards as a credible new voice in the regional industry calendar. This second edition has confirmed its place as a fixture — one that motivates industry players to continuously raise standards, embrace innovation and strive for greater achievement knowing that their efforts will be seen, assessed and celebrated at a regional level.
Winners and participants joining the gala ceremony on May 14 represent some of the most respected names in tourism and hospitality across the region, with confirmed attendance from industry leaders and award recipients from Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia, the Philippines and beyond — making this one of the most geographically diverse gatherings of tourism and hospitality professionals in the regional awards calendar.
The ceremony will be held in Kuala Lumpur on May 14 and is expected to be graced by distinguished guests from across the regional tourism and hospitality industry. It is organised by TIN Media in the spirit of Visit Malaysia 2026 — the national tourism campaign that affirms Malaysia’s readiness to welcome the world and showcase the finest of Asian hospitality on the global stage.
From the hotel that invested deeply in training its people, to the restaurant that never compromised on quality, to the tour operator who created experiences so memorable that visitors promised themselves they would return, to the destination leader who continued telling their story with pride and conviction — every nominee represented in Thursday’s ceremony is a testament to what Asian tourism and hospitality looks like at its best.
The platform also recognises that behind every award winner stands a team. The front desk officer who greeted every guest with warmth from morning to night. The chef who perfected a dish long after service ended. The housekeeping professional who ensured every room met the highest standards. The tour guide who shared stories so passionately that visitors fell in love with a destination. The Asian Tourism & Hospitality Awards celebrates those individuals as much as the organisations they represent.
The Asian Tourism & Hospitality Awards 2025–2026 is supported by a strong network of regional industry associations and partners, including the Malaysian Association of Hotels, PATA Malaysia Chapter, SKÅL International Kuala Lumpur and Danang Events and Convention Association Vietnam — whose collective endorsement underscores the awards’ standing as a genuinely representative and credible regional platform.
Their involvement reflects a shared commitment across the industry to building recognition systems that inspire excellence, strengthen destination credibility and elevate the standards that define Asian hospitality at its best.
