KUCHING, 26 August 2026: The 3rd edition of the Kuching Lights & Floral Festival is set to be the biggest one yet, with hundreds making their way to the Kuching Botanical Gardens in Petra Jaya earlier today on the first day of the highly anticipated festival.
Organised by the Kuching North City Hall (DBKU), the Kuching Lights & Floral Festival will be taking place until September 16, 2026 from 7pm to midnight, with plenty of things to see, do and experience, including booths selling ornamental flowers and plants, the Bloom & Glow Market, landscape exhibitions, food trucks and more.
The Bloom & Glow Market, located near Dataran Pertiwi, showcases a plethora of local businesses, including food, desserts, fragrances, jewellery and more!

The festival’s main attraction, however, is the LUNA Lights Wonderland, which features breathtaking lighting effects and visual decorations throughout the expansive gardens. From tunnels of light to celestial bodies, the LUNA Lights Wonderland sheds a whole new light on Kuching city at night and has been extended until September 27, 2026. Entrance fee is RM15 for adults, RM8 for children and free for OKU.
As part of DBKU’s efforts to enliven the city’s atmosphere at night, the Kuching Lights and Floral Festival has garnered an encouraging response on its first night, with hundreds of people from all walks of life making their way to the botanical gardens to check out the stunning light sculptures, bright flowers and creative landscaping arrangements.
