KUCHING, 13 August 2026: Malaysian underground DJ, producer and artist, SIREN is set to enter a new chapter of his musical journey with the release of his debut concept album, PERSPECTIVE., a 14-track project that brings together his roots in bass-driven electronic music with his long-standing passion for hip-hop, lyricism and storytelling.

Set for worldwide release on July 10, 2026, PERSPECTIVE. is the result of more than three years of writing, production and self-discovery. Entirely self-written, self-produced and self-engineered, the album represents SIREN’s most personal and ambitious project to date, marking his evolution from an underground electronic music DJ into a fully realised recording artist.

Ahead of the album, SIREN will release its lead single, STAGE PRESENCE, on June 26, accompanied by an official music video. The visual project is developed in collaboration with CEPHUSION, who are overseeing the creative direction and directing the music video.

Known for his high-energy performances and dedication to heavier forms of bass music, SIREN has established himself within Malaysia’s underground electronic music scene by championing sounds that often exist outside the mainstream. While electronic music has shaped much of his career, hip-hop and lyricism have remained equally important influences throughout his artistic journey

With PERSPECTIVE., the two worlds finally come together. Rather than stepping away from his electronic roots, SIREN uses them as the foundation for a sound that combines conscious hip-hop songwriting, narrative-driven lyricism and introspective themes with aggressive basslines, dystopian synth textures and electronic production.

The album explores the idea of contradiction, with its 14 tracks delving into themes of ego, self-preservation, truth, ambition, consequence, love, trauma, knowledge and personal growth. Each production and lyrical decision contributes to a larger narrative, encouraging listeners to look beyond the music and reflect on how they interpret themselves and the world around them.

Adding another layer to the project, PERSPECTIVE. is designed to tell different stories depending on how it is experienced. Played from beginning to end, the album follows an artist’s journey towards healing and inner peace while confronting the consequences of pride and identity. When played in reverse, another narrative emerges, one centred around ambition, trauma and the pursuit of success at the cost of self-destruction.

A third interpretation removes the protagonist entirely and places the listener at the centre of the story, allowing each track to represent a different experience, lesson or circumstance in their own lives.For SIREN, PERSPECTIVE. is more than simply a new release. It represents nearly a decade of navigating two musical identities and ultimately finding a way for both to coexist.

The upcoming single STAGE PRESENCE offers the first glimpse into this world. Driven by hard-hitting production and uncompromising lyricism, the track explores the tension between confidence and self-doubt while introducing the sonic and thematic direction of the album.

STAGE PRESENCE will be released worldwide on June 26, 2026, alongside its official music video, followed by the worldwide release of PERSPECTIVE. on July 10, 2026.
