Reset Sportsplex raises the bar for sports and leisure in Kuching

KUCHING, 27 June 2026 – Kuching’s sporting landscape took a notable step forward this morning as Reset Sportsplex threw open its doors along Jalan Batu Kawa, bringing with it a vision of active living, community connection, and family-friendly recreation, all under one roof.
The official opening was graced by Deputy Premier of Sarawak and Minister for Public Health, Housing and Local Government, Datuk Amar Dr Sim Kui Hian, who performed the ribbon-cutting and plaque-signing before officially launching an inaugural tournament on the premises.
Also in attendance were Mayor of the Kuching South City Council (MBKS), Dato Wee Hong Seng; Chairman of the Padawan Municipal Council (MPP), Cr Tan Kai; Director of Standard Parade and Reset Realty Sdn Bhd, Sin Kuoh Swee; and Cr Albert Tay Seng Pin.
Strategically positioned along the main Batu Kawa Road,opposite MJC and just before the Petros Service Station, the complex sits on approximately 5.6 acres of land and is hard to miss. For residents in and around Batu Kawa, the arrival of Reset Sportsplex means that world-class sporting facilities are finally within easy reach, without the need to travel far into the city centre.

The centrepiece of the complex is a sprawling 4,500-square-metre sports hall, which alone speaks to the scale of ambition behind this project. It houses 13 pickleball courts as well aseight badminton courts that are sure to draw competitive players and casual enthusiasts alike.
Reset Sportsplex has been thoughtfully designed as a destination for the whole family. The ground floor brings together food courts and health-conscious eateries, as well asshops retailing sports and fitness equipment, making it convenient for visitors to fuel up, gear up, and get moving. Upstairs, the first floor extends the experience further with a gymnasium, dedicated fitness centres, children’s educational activities, and family leisure options, complemented by a restaurant and office space for those who blend work with an active lifestyle.
