Local artists take centre stage in "Voices of Her: A Mini Musical"

KUCHING, 2 September 2026: A new mini musical blending live music, dance and theatrical storytelling will take to the stage this September, as local talents come together to present Voices of Her, a production exploring friendship, ambition and artistic identity.

Presented by Night People Show, Voices of Her: A Mini Musical follows Carrie Geres, Steff Fleur and Pearl, three women with three distinct musical voices, whose friendship is tested when an unexpected opportunity threatens to pull them apart. Joining the trio is fellow artist Eva Kennedy, who finds herself drawn into their unfolding story, alongside dancers from Danceversity and a special cameo appearance by Rahman, also known as Twenty.

The performers will be accompanied by a live band ensemble featuring Rendall, Farouk, Erfan and Aiman, bringing an added layer of energy and authenticity to the production's blend of vocals, dance and drama.

At its heart, Voices of Her poses a simple but compelling question. When three voices are fighting for the same spotlight, will friendship prove louder than their differences? Audiences can expect a vibrant showcase of local artistry as the story unfolds through music and movement.

Voices of Her: A Mini Musical is supported by Majlis Seni Sarawak and co-sponsored by Purrfect Studio, reflecting continued efforts to champion homegrown creative talent within Kuching's growing arts scene.

The production will take place on 5 September 2026 at Purrfect Studio, Kuching, with doors opening at 7:30pm.
