‘Juh Sungkei di BCCK’ celebrates heritage and flavours

KUCHING, 27 February 2026: The Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK) is back this Ramadhan with ‘Juh Sungkei di BCCK’ dinner buffet, an annual offering attended by thousands every year, which we were lucky enough to attend yesterday evening.
Available daily from February 20 to March 18, 2026 from 6PM to 10PM, this year’s buffet features over 70 dishes, including signature highlights like Roasted Whole Lamb, Roasted Duck with Soup, Chicken Masala, Deep-Fried Tilapia with Mango Sauce, Ayam Varuval Masak Madu, Lamb Briyani and Nasi Minyak Berkismis alongside crowd favourites such as Chicken and Beef Satay and Chinese Salmon Fish Head Curry.
As usual, BCCK delights with its amazing array of live stations, including returning favourites like Margherita Pizza, Smoked Duck Carbonara Pasta, Kolo Mee Pok with Minced Chicken, Chicken Shawarma, Cotton Candy Corner, Ice Kacang and Sarawak Laksa, as well as new additions like Chinese Oyster Fritters, Korean Fried Chicken and Leche Caramel Flan! For dessert, indulge in BCCK’s large array of selections, including assorted puddings, tartlets, whole cakes, sago porridge, ice cream and local kuih.


BCCK’s culinary team has designed a menu that reflects familiar Ramadhan flavours while maintaining quality, variety and consistency throughout the fasting season, ensuring a satisfying sungkei experience for everyone! Guests can also enjoy live performances and commemorate their special evening at BCCK by snapping a group photo at the gorgeous photobooths!
