1. Sungai Lepoh Waterfall

Sungai Lepoh Waterfall at Selangor, otherwise known as Sungai Lopo or Sungai Lepok, situated in Hulu Langat district near Pangsoon Village, is an ideal getaway for those who love adventure. The beautiful flora and fauna that surround the clear and clean waterfall will make you fall absolutely in love with this Selangor hideout. You can also carry out other activities like trekking, bird-watching, and picnic by the river.

2. Sky Mirror

Located in Kuala Selangor, Sky Mirror is Malaysia’s very own ‘Salar de Uyuni’, having similarities to a natural phenomenon in Bolivia. It is only accessible during certain dates in the lunar month, typically during low tides. To get there, you will need to take a 30-minute speedboat ride from the Sky Mirror jetty.

3. Sungai Selangor Dam

Did you know that Sungai Selangor Dam is one of the best spots for stargazing activity? It is an ideal getaway for stargazers to enjoy astrophotography because Sungai Selangor Dam is not exposed to external lights. Initially began its operations in 2003, the dam is located along the main road about 5 kilometres from Kuala Kubu Bharu town.

It is also a favourite stop among cyclists to take in the view of the scenic greenish-blue lake.

4. Kelanang Beach

Twenty minutes drive away from Banting town, Kelanang Beach is a less-visited beach that offers a beautiful panoramic ocean view. Especially during sunset, the view would take your breath away! There are many picnic and camping spots along the shores of the beach, making it a great location for you to enjoy the sea breeze, views with your family and friends, or simply to have peace of mind.

5. Secret Garden @ 1 Utama Shopping Centre

Built on the rooftop of 1 Utama Shopping Centre, Secret Garden occupies 30,000 square feet of space. What is unique about this garden is that it displays more than 500 species of exotic flora and tropical plants. Each plant is grown in bio-carbon and is carefully preserved by experienced botanists.

Admission is FREE and Secret Garden is open to the public on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from 10am to 10pm.

6. Gasing Hill

Gasing Hill is a great spot for recreational activities, drawing hikers from near and far. Located within the Gasing Hill Forest Reserve at Petaling Jaya, the forest covers an area of approximately 52 hectares, with a height of 164 metres. At the peak, you can enjoy breath-taking views of the city and skyscrapers.
