A watercolour artist from Lundu is putting Sarawak on the international art map, one brushstroke at a time. Bong Shin Siong’s newest work, Flora and Fauna of Borneo II, is now on show at the Asia University Museum of Modern Art in Taichung, Taiwan, as part of the exhibition “Tanahair – Navigating Asianness”.

The annual Borderland Music Festival will be making its return to Sarawak Cultural Village in Kuching for the 4th edition on September 11 and 12, 2026, promising its biggest and most ambitious festival to date.

The 29th edition of the Rainforest World Music Festival officially drew to a close yesterday evening, concluding with a countdown to next year’s RWMF. The highly anticipated 30th anniversary of RWMF will be taking place from June 25 to 27, 2027, with stronger lineup and headliners in store.
