LONDON, 6 November 2025: World Travel Mart (WTM) London 2025 took place at Excel London from November 4 to 6, 2025, and was the largest ever held in its 45-year history, thanks to the expansion of the venue last year. With the 2024 launch of Excel London’s Capital Hall and Auditorium level, Excel London introduced a 25% expansion, allowing the growth of WTM London 2025 with increased space, enhanced content and deeper high-level engagement. The expansion allows WTM London to introduce WTM TrendFest – a brand-new cultural programme that spotlights immersive global experiences from across the globe.
Described as a stage to connect with the global travel agency, the WTM TrendFest showcases dynamic performances, activations and interactive experiences, from a Croation-themed cooking demonstration and Romanian folk dance to Judy’s Harmonica Ensemble and Sarawak’s rhythms and culture.

Sarawak drew attention through an engaging cultural showcase that brought Borneo’s living heritage to the global stage. Visitors had the chance to not only experience daily cultural performances from dancers from the Sarawak Arts Council, but also take part in bamboo dances and engage with them both on and off stage at Sarawak Tourism Board’s ‘Borneo Rhythms: Sarawak’s Culture in Motion and Craft’ presentation.

Meanwhile, over at the WTM TrendFest exhibition area, the Sarawak Craft Council also conducted live demonstrations of traditional weaving and beading, highlighting the state’s creative talent and community craftmanship, further underscoring Sarawak’s reputation as an authentic, sustainable destination and generated strong interest among trade and media representatives.
After the launch of the Sarawak Pavilion, Minister for Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts Sarawak (MTCP), Dato Sri Haji Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah also had a chance to pay a visit to WTM TrendFest and witness Sarawak’s performances and handicrafts. Also present, Deputy Minister for Tourism Sarawak, Datuk Sebastian Ting, Permanent Secretary of MTCP, Datu Sherrina Hussaini and Acting CEO of Sarawak Arts Council, Awang Ikman bin Awang Sepian.
