tHe Spring’s 'Imagine The Magic' launch focused on community, hope

KUCHING, 22 November 2025: Last night, excitement and festive anticipation washed over tHe Spring Mall here as it officially launched its annual Christmas campaign, “Imagine The Magic”. The mall’s atmosphere was instantly transformed, filled with enchanting experiences for shoppers. The setting itself evoked a true sense of magic and wonder; the entire venue is fully decked with beautiful decorations, culminating in the dazzling centrepiece, namely the lighting of the mall’s much-adored giant outdoor Christmas tree.

The launch, officiated by Minister for Women, Early Childhood, and Community Wellbeing Development Sarawak, Dato Sri Hajah Fatimah Abdullah, was a celebration of community connection and understanding, stemmed from its focus on the dyslexia community, with many children benefiting from the ongoing campaign being brought to the event.

“Imagine The Magic” places inclusivity at its heart, specifically shining a light on this community. tHe Spring is honoured to partner with the Dyslexia Association of Sarawak (DAS) as its official beneficiary and awareness partner. This initiative reflects tHe Spring’s belief that imagination belongs to everyone and that every child deserves the opportunity to dream and flourish.

“I would like to congratulate Datin Christine Ling, tHe Spring for giving this festive season a deeper purpose to this year’s celebration by combining festivity with a very meaningful cause. Tonight, they’ve invited our children from the Dyslexia Association to join in this celebration,” said Fatimah in her speech at the launching ceremony.

“Through the ‘Imagine the Magic’ campaign, tHe Spring reminds us that the true magic lies in how we open our hearts to others, including those who may feel left out and celebrate the diversity of our community,” she added.

This festive season is also a call to awareness and action, fostering support for children with dyslexia and reinforcing the importance of understanding. Shoppers are encouraged to support this vital work by donating reading materials at the Magic Box located at the Christmas Market through the “Build A Library” initiative, or by purchasing DAS merchandise, with proceeds helping to fund their ongoing programmes. This meaningful initiative is made possible with the support of CSR partners PE Holdings, Perbena Emas, and MPH Bookstores. Shoppers can even look forward to Whimsical Fairy Appearances on weekends throughout the campaign.

The entire campaign, also supported by sister mall tHe Spring Bintulu, promises a calendar filled with festive fun, including Christmas Markets, a Christmas Redemption Programme, and Enchanted Trails of exciting weekly mall-wide challenges. The collaboration reinforces the key values of this year’s celebration: inclusivity, understanding, and community connection.
