KUCHING, 31 July 2025: Thailand Week officially kicks off today at The Spring Shopping Mall Kuching, and is set to bring Thailand brands and businesses to the masses in the spirit of trade, culture and emerging innovations! BorneoTalk is proud to be a media partner at this year’s Thailand Week.
Happening from 31 July to August 3, 2025, Thailand Week is organised by Thailand’s Department of International Trade Promotion of the Ministry of Commerce and features over 100 booths representing a total of 109 brands, making it one of the largest trade and culture showcases ever held in East Malaysia.
Earlier today, we were taken on a press tour with Director of Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP) Malaysia, Worawan Wanwil, who’s in charge of bringing Thai flair to Kuching, from daily traditional music & dance performances and its rich tea and coffee heritage to direct engagement between Thai producers and Sarawak-based importers, retailers and distributors.
Throughout the tour, media partners were introduced to a plethora of Thai products and brands, including fashion garments, handmade jewellery collections, local snacks and beverages and even fragrances.
Don’t miss out on exciting booths and activities, happening now until Sunday, including live cooking demonstrations, Muay Thai performances and a meet & greet session with Thai-British actor and model, Tate Henry Myron!
