Sheraton Kuching ushers in festive season with Whimsical Wonderland

KUCHING, 27 November 2025: Sheraton Kuching Hotel officially ushered in the festive season on with the Christmas Launch Ceremony, in celebration of the joy of the holidays with partners, guests and local community.

The evening began with captivating performances by the Kuching City First Choir Association, who delighted the crowd with renditions of Christmas Classics like ‘Jingle Bells’, followed by a speech by the General Manager of Sheraton Kuching Hotel, Charlene Chan, who unveiled this year’s enchanting theme: “The Whimsical Wonderland”, which lights up the hotel entrance and lobby area with stunning Nutcracker decorations and plenty of spots for photo opportunities.

In line with Sheraton Kuching’s commitment to giving back, the hotel also partnered with Hope Place Kuching and welcomed 3 families to join in at the celebrations. Each family received a special gift and was also invited to enjoy the Christmas Dinner Buffet.

The highlight of the evening was the Christmas Decoration Light-Up Ceremony, which was officiated by the General Manager, as well as Hotel Manager, Andrew Law and CEO of Double Dynasty Group – Hospitality Division, Michael Ho, illuminating the hotel’s lobby and Nomadic Restaurant in dazzling, festive lights.

We were then treated to a preview of Sheraton Kuching’s festive culinary offerings, showcasing just a taste of what to expect for the hotel’s Christmas Eve and Day Dinner Buffet. The indulgent menu features a wide variety of Western-style dishes and Christmas classics, including Tomahawk Steak, Salmon Wellington en Croute, Beef Rib Eye Steak, Ginger Panna Cotta, classic Yule Logs and mini Christmas trees made of Cream Puffs and Macarons! Adding to the celebrations, a live dessert station with Apple Fritters and Churros, as well as a chocolate fountain that will surely delight every sweet tooth!
