Sheraton Kuching showcases Malaysian culinary diversity

KUCHING, 11 February 2026: We had the pleasure of checking out Sheraton Kuching’s latest culinary offering, the ‘Sine San Berambeh’ Dinner Buffet during a special preview yesterday evening at the hotel’s Nomadic Restaurant along with other media partners, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and esteemed corporate clients.
This year’s theme, ‘Taste of Truly Malaysia’, pays homage to the diverse flavours that define the nation’s gastronomic identity. We were treated to just a portion of the buffet’s offering at yesterday preview, which includes signature dishes like Whole Lamb Carving Station, Gear Box Soup, 3 different Malaysian Laksas, Musang King Durian Cendol, diverse sambal varieties, Whole Baked Fish and many more regional favourites.


Inspired by the spirit of gathering and community, the concept of ‘Sine San Berambeh’ reflects Sheraton Kuching’s commitment to creating meaningful experiences rooted in local culture. In Sarawakian Malay, ‘Berambeh’ signifies coming together, gathering and reconnecting as a community, while ‘Sine San’ conveys a warm invitation to join in. Together, the phrase mirrors Sheraton’s mission of creating spaces that foster connection and meaningful moments – a place where people from all walks of life can gather to share food, culture and experiences!

The ‘Sine San Berambeh’ experience will officially open to the public on February 21, 2026, and will run until March 10, 2026, priced at RM268/adult and RM120/child (5 – 12 years old). From now until February 15, 2026, guests can enjoy special early bird pricing at RM218/adult.
