SINGAPORE, 16 April 2026 - Sarawak Tourism Board (STB) wrapped up a successful three-day showcase at the 38th Travel Malaysia Fair 2026 in Singapore last weekend, which highlighted the State’s Culture, Adventure, Nature, Food, Festivals (CANFF), and the Rainforest World Music Festival (RWMF).

The fair, which ran from April 10 to 12, was a perfect opportunity to attract Singaporean and regional travellers to visit Sarawak, especially with Singapore being one of Sarawak’s most important tourism markets, with visitor numbers growing by 7.53% in 2025 compared to the year before.

A major focus of Sarawak’s showcase was the RWMF 2026, which will be held from June 26 to 28 at the Sarawak Cultural Village. This year’s festival promises a strong lineup over three nights. On June 26, Malaysian music legend Dato' M. Nasir opens the festival. The following night on June 27, funk and soul legends The Commodores featuring Thomas McClary take the stage. Closing the festival on June 28 is British jazz-funk group Incognito, led by Jean-Paul "Bluey" Maunick. In total, the festival will feature over 200 performers from 13 countries.

Pre-sale tickets are available until June 26, 2026, priced at RM283 for adults and RM80 for children aged 3 to 12. Children below three years old enter for free. Tickets can be bought at rwmf.net or through Ticketmelon at ticketmelon.com/sarawaktourismboard/rwmf. Buy Now Pay Later options are also available via Atome, Grab PayLater, and Shopee PayLater.

Apart from the festival, STB also highlighted Sarawak’s attractions in Kuching, Sibu, and Miri, covering nature, heritage, food, and adventure. Direct flights from Singapore make the trip easy and accessible.

STB CEO, Dr Sharzede Datu Haji Salleh Askor said, “Singapore continues to play an important role as a regional gateway, bringing together travellers from across different markets who are seeking deeper and more meaningful experiences. Through platforms such as the Travel Malaysia Fair, we are able to share what makes Sarawak distinctive, from our cultural diversity to signature events like the Rainforest World Music Festival, while supporting the broader aspirations of Visit Malaysia Year 2026.”

Sarawak’s participation at the fair is in support of Malaysia’s Visit Malaysia Year 2026 campaign, which aims to showcase the country’s rich diversity to the world through culture, nature, and connection.
