Raia Hotel Kuching’s ‘Juh Berambeh’ offers diverse culinary delights

KUCHING, 6 March 2026: We recently had the pleasure of trying out ‘Juh Berambeh’ Ramadhan Iftar Buffet, Raia Hotel & Convention Centre Kuching’s month-long culinary affair which takes place at the hotel’s Kenyalang Café as well as Convention Centre.
Taking place throughout the month of Ramadhan from 6PM to 10PM daily, ‘Juh Berambeh’ offers a diverse range of culinary options from all over the region, from traditional Malay cuisine and Indian Muslim food to Middle Eastern dishes and Thai cuisine. We had the pleasure of indulging in the offerings at the convention centre, which saw dozens of appetizers, desserts, kerabu, salads and more within the hall itself, and plenty of live station offerings at the foyer.
Some of the dishes include Authentic Greek Beef Moussaka, Braised Lamb with BBQ Pepper Sauce, Ayam Asam Pedas Aromatik, Daging Dendeng Indonesia, Gulai Lempah Ikan Masin, Nenas & Terung Asam, Sambal Udang Kacang Peas, Kam Heong Chilli Mussels, Bubur Lambuk, Bubur Pedas, Creamy Carbonara Spaghetti with Parmesan Cheese and Pan Seared Chicken Breast Piccatta with Tomato Basil Sauce.
Over at the live stations were a series of exciting offerings, including Homemade Apam Balik, Shawarma, Roti Canai, Roasted Chicken marinated with Taliwang Spice, Satay, Mee Sedaap Stall, Japanese Grilled Okonomiyaki, Kambing Bakar, Nasi Kandar Mamu, Gorengan Cucur Desa Raia, Sup Leher Kambing, Sup Kawah Tulang Rawan, a total of 8 varieties of rendang and an offering of fried seafood including prawns, crabs and fish.
We especially enjoyed the Japanese Grilled Okonomiyaki, the Shawarma, the Greek Beef Moussaka and the Kam Heong Chilli Mussels, which are some of the hotel’s most unique offerings during the Ramadhan season.
