Legendary 80s bands XPDC & Search to rock Sarawak Stadium this December

KUCHING, 1 October 2025: 2 legendary 80s Malaysian rock and metal bands will unite onstage this December, making music history here in Sarawak! Metal band XPDC and rock band Search, will be performing the Konsert Fenomena Samurai for one night at the Sarawak Stadium in Kuching on December 13, 2025!

Described as a night of nostalgia and appreciation for longtime fans that have supported their music, the Konsert Fenomena Samurai is a chance for fans to experience their greatest hits live at affordable prices, without compromising on credibility and quality.

This was announced in a special press conference earlier today at the Riverside Majestic Hotel Astana Wing by the Minister for Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts Sarawak, Dato Sri Haji Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah, organisers Bintang Batu Event and Seri Simfoni, as well as members of both bands, including Izo, Lola, Eddie, Arif and Mamu from XPDC and Search led by Din and Kid.

“Sarawak openly welcomes any event organisers who wish to hold an event in Sarawak, especially when it comes to performing arts. No matter local or international acts, or whether it’s a concert, musical or theatre performance, we are more than happy to welcome them,” expressed Abdul Karim during the press conference.
