SINGAPORE, 15 October 2025 – Asia’s leading travel trade show, ITB Asia 2025, officially opened its doors today at Sands Expo and Convention Centre, Marina Bay Sands, here. The largest and most dynamic edition since the event’s inception in 2008, the three-day programme, running from 15-17 October 2025, welcomes global leaders from the MICE, leisure, and corporate travel sectors and is a vital marketplace for ideas, partnerships, and industry renewal. Once again, BorneoTalk returns to Singapore as ITB Asia’s media partner, representing Sarawak, Malaysia at the region’s most influential travel trade show.
Senior Vice President of Messe Berlin, David Ruetz in his opening keynote, addressed delegates with a message of unity and long-term vision that highligts the event’s strategic importance in shaping the global travel and tourism ecosystem. Describing ITB Asia as the premier platform for global travel leaders to connect, innovate, and shape the future of tourism, he extended his appreciation to exhibitors, buyers, media, and government partners for their continued trust and support.
This year’s edition of ITB Asia is spread across five halls on two levels and welcomes over 1,500 buyers, the highest number in the show’s history. The expanded scale is proof of ITB Asia’s ever growing relevance as a business catalyst for suppliers, destinations, and travel technology providers worldwide. International participation has also broadened, with first-time exhibitors from Azerbaijan, Lithuania, Hungary, Tamil Nadu, Danang, and Kaohsiung joining this year.
ITB Asia 2025 also witnessed the debut of its Experience and Attractions Highlight Zone, which hosts pavilions that showcase experiential tourism and themed attractions from brands such as Resorts World Sentosa, Disney Cruise Line, and Mandai Wildlife Reserve, among others.

The ITB Asia Conference Programme, themed “Future Transforming Travel and Tourism in a Changing World” offers over 7,000 minutes of curated content and features more than 270 speakers. It features sessions that explore everything from travel technology and destination marketing to direct booking strategies and global consumer trends.
Meanwhile, running concurrently are two specialised showcases: MICE Show Asia 2025 and Travel Tech Asia 2025. The latter highlights the technological forces reshaping the traveller’s journey. From AI-powered hotel systems to mobile-integrated booking platforms, the exhibition and conference take a closer look at next-generation tools designed to elevate guest experience and operational efficiency. Topics include the connected trip, super travel tech, and sustainability-driven design innovations, just to name a few. Travel Tech Asia this year has expanded its show floor by 15%, with over 45% first-time exhibitors participating.

MICE Show Asia 2025, on the other hand, focuses on the meetings and events sector, featuring pre-scheduled one-to-one appointments and a dedicated conference exploring challenges in the MICE industry, digital transformation, and buyer engagement strategies.

The three-day ITB Asia continues to be a vital forum for establishing new partnerships and strengthening existing relationships across the global travel trade. From destination showcases and hotel launches to cutting-edge travel tech and strategic networking, ITB Asia 2025 delivers a comprehensive experience that reflects the evolving dynamics of the travel industry.
