Gearing up for SIFMA 6.0

KUCHING, 5 December 2025: The 6th edition of Sarawak International Festival of Music and Arts (SIFMA) is taking place tomorrow evening and the performers have all arrived in Kuching for this annual event, which brings together artists, musicians and performers from all corners of the world to share their unique cultural expressions and creative innovations.
The meet-and-greet session held earlier today at Fifty8 Café in Kuching, and co-sponsored by Jordan Signature Catering Services. It was attended by groups performing for SIFMA 2025, including B’dadali Dance Troupe, Nataraharja & Puspa Karima, Taiwan Bamboo Orchestra, Suc Song Moi Traditional Orchestra, Viet Lotus Group, Cstage Dance Academy, Ask Dance Academy, Mahaka Music, Ensemble Melayu Nusantara Trio, Dancespace, Dancer Interface Performing Arts, Reginald Bernaldez & Gonzalo Misa III, Regina Handoko, Harit Chunhanantasap, Hu Chen Yun, Sinjo Yap, Absolutely Thai, Shangyin Music Center, Dr. Gilbert De Greeve and Singapore Chinese Dance Theater.
CEO of International Music House (IMH) and Founder of SIFMA, Dr. Geraldine Law-Lee was present to warmly welcome the performing groups, reaffirming SIFMA’s dedication to the spirit of collaboration and cultural exchange, all while creating an inclusive environment where creativity thrives.

The event then commenced with a tourism presentation by Sarawak Tourism Board’s Ozie Tungging, who highlighted the state’s many cultural attractions, natural heritage and tourism experiences, followed by an exchanging of gifts between SIFMA organisers and participating groups.
The 6th edition of SIFMA is happening at the new State Legislative Assembly Kuching on December 6 and 7, 2025.
