Sarawak is strengthening its regional tourism partnerships and exploring new opportunities to expand international market access through its participation in the 19th General Assembly of the East Asia Inter-Regional Tourism Federation (EATOF), held at Mactan Expo, Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu.

Chief Executive Officer of Business Events Sarawak (BESarawak), Jason Tan has been appointed Chair of the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA) Asia Pacific Chapter for the 2026-2028 term, becoming the first Sarawakian to lead the regional chapter.
