KUALA LUMPUR, 17 October 2025: AirAsia reaffirms its long-standing commitment to Sarawak as the official airline partner and e-hailing partner for Lan Berambeh Anak Sarawak (LBAS) 2025, happening this October 25, 2025 at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) in Kuala Lumpur. 

Organised by Sarawak Volunteers with support from the Sarawak State Government and Deputy Prime Minister, Datuk Amar Haji Fadillah bin Haji Yusof, Lan Berambeh has become a meaningful tradition that unites Sarawakians living, working and studying in Peninsular Malaysia, serving as an important platform for them to reconnect with their heritage, foster unity, celebrate their culture and engage with state leaders, industry partners and fellow Sarawakians through dialogues, exhibitions and cultural showcases. This year’s edition is no different, and is expected to attract thousands of attendees once again. 

AirAsia is offering exclusive flight and baggage promotions for guests who book their trips during the event which includes 20% off for flights (Valid for all flights operated by AirAsia Malaysia (AK) only and bookings made on 25 October 2025, for travel between 25 October 2025 and 28 April 2026. Only applicable for purchases made during initial flight booking via AirAsia MOVE, subject to availability.) and 50% off for checked baggage (Valid only for purchase with flight bookings at the event, subject to availability). Students from Sarawak can also take advantage of on-ground support to check and redeem FLYsiswa travel subsidies, making it easier to return home for holidays and family occasions.

Getting to MITEC will be simpler too, with special fares available on AirAsia Ride. Travellers heading from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 or Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport (Subang Airport) can enjoy promotional discounts using the code ‘LBAS2KLIA’ for advance bookings, while visitors from other parts of the Klang Valley can apply ‘RIDELBA3’ for additional savings when travelling to/from MITEC.
