LANGKAWI, 27 August 2026: Langkawi is about to become part of a Disney holiday at sea, as the Disney Adventure adds the Malaysian island as its first-ever port of call from 31 December 2026. But the real attraction may be what happens before you even step ashore.

There are cruises, and then there is a Disney cruise. For anyone who grew up with Mickey Mouse, Marvel superheroes, Pixar stories and Disney princesses, the arrival of Disney Adventure in Langkawi is more than just another cruise ship making a stop in Malaysia. Starting with selected four-night sailings from 31 December 2026, Disney Adventure will sail from Singapore and make a day visit to Langkawi on the third day of the journey. The ship will continue to begin and end its voyages in Singapore, with Langkawi serving as a destination for guests to explore rather than a place to embark or disembark. And for Disney fans, the timing could hardly be more exciting.

Disney Adventure is Disney Cruise Line's first ship based in Asia and began sailing from Singapore in March 2026. The ship is divided into seven themed areas, bringing different Disney, Pixar and Marvel worlds to life.
