50 agencies to offer 170 services at Sarawakku Sayang programme in Mukah
MUKAH, 28 September 2026: Residents in Mukah Division will have access to 170 government services when the Sarawakku Sayang (SKS) Programme 2026 is held here at Dataran Pehin Setia Raja from Oct 2 to 4.
The three-day programme, the eighth SKS location this year, will bring together 50 government agencies, statutory bodies and strategic partners to provide information, services and assistance to the public.
Among the key services will be an enquiry counter for the Sarawak Basic Needs Contribution Initiative (SKAS) 2026, where members of the public can obtain further clarification on eligibility requirements, assistance rates and the digital disbursement of assistance through the SPay Global platform.
Under SKAS 2026, eligible households will receive RM1,100, senior citizens RM600 and single individuals RM375. This initiative is expected to benefit nearly 800,000 recipients throughout Sarawak. Ten local recipients will also receive their SKAS 2026 benefits as part of the government initiatives presentation session.
Information on the Sarawak Free Tertiary Education Scheme (FTES) will also be available, including details on participating institutions, fields of study and eligibility requirements. Ten students will receive FTES benefits during the programme, while at least five students will receive offers under the Yayasan Sarawak International Secondary School (YSISS).
For youths and jobseekers, the Education and Human Capital Development cluster will provide information on employment opportunities, career development and job-matching services offered by participating employers.
A Talikhidmat counter will also be available as a one-stop channel to assist members of the public in obtaining information, submitting enquiries and lodging complaints relating to Sarawak Government services.
Community games, cultural performances and a People's Concert are scheduled throughout the three days. Visitors can also access healthcare services including health screenings, consultations, fitness assessments and influenza vaccinations for senior citizens.
To add to the excitement, a total of 85 attractive prizes will also be offered to members of the public, with the grand prize being a Proton Saga.
At the same time, the SKS programme will serve as a strategic platform to showcase Sarawak’s various achievements and development agenda implemented under the Post COVID-19 Development Strategy 2030 (PCDS 2030).
Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri (Dr) Abang Abdul Rahman Zohari Abang Openg is expected to officiate the programme at 10.30am on Oct 3 at the Main Tent, Dataran Pehin Setia Raja.
