Hari Raya Aidilfitri is just around the corner, and the shopping malls never miss! These grand decorations help bring up the festive mood and give rise to photography opportunities. Some shopping malls even have an interesting theme to go with!
1. Quayside Mall
Quayside Mall is the newest and largest neighborhood shopping centre in Kota Kemuning, Klang. Quayside Mall is located on a 7-acre lake and provides residents with access to a wide variety of entertainment, groceries, dining options, services and other necessities. 1 Utama Shopping Centre came up with the theme ‘Kampung Minangkabau’ which highlights the beauty of a 41-foot-tall Rumah Gadang with a prominent curved roof resembling a buffalo horn, which was also artistically-decorated with woven floral designs. The Mall invites you to enter this stately home, which also pays homage to the architecture of Negeri Sembilan and West Sumatra for a fully interactive and Insta-worthy photography experience.
3. The Curve, Mutiara Damansara
This year, The Curve, Mutiara Damansara has transformed their Centre Court into a unique landscape, taking inspiration from the intricate hues and patterns of songket weaving. “The Curve Raya Estetika” offers photography opportunities with colourful backdrops and modern details. Let’s celebrate Hari Raya with The Curve by bringing your family here to enjoy a fun -filled experience, interspersed with traditional performances and fun activities!
4. Setia City Mall
Setia City Mall celebrates Hari Raya with amazing decorations at their Centre Court. The decorations take inspiration from the memories of Eid celebration that is close to the heart, as well as the liveliness of the colorful and bright lights that are synonymous to this festive season!
5. Tropicana Gardens Mall
Tropicana Gardens Mall invites you for a ‘Jalinan Kasih Di Aidilfitri’ experience featured on the Concourse Floor, Centre Court. Shop for a variety of delicacies here. In addition to dining at the stalls decorated with traditional decorations, don’t forget to also take a lot of pictures!
6. the Starling
Celebrate ‘Pesona Raya’ with The Starling! When you shop and dine here, you will be serenaded by live music performances in a setting featuring attractive decorations, such as illustration portraits that were made with watercolours. Mark your calendar and head over to The Starling this Eid. You will find everything you need for the Hari Raya celebration at their ‘Aidilfitri Bazaar’!
7. Sunway Pyramid
This year, Sunway Pyramid celebrates Hari Raya with the theme ‘Riuh Ria Raya’; which includes colourful decorations and fun events. The Mall welcomes all shoppers to support locally produced goods in the spirit of #SupportLokal. The Mall has recruited a local graffiti artist, Abdulrashade and his team to create a stunning Raya Mural, which can be seen in the colourful village house surrounded by the beauty of green trees. 8. Da Men Mall
Let Da Men Mall take you to another era. At Da Men Mall, capture nostalgic memories with ‘Bestnya Raya!’ featuring batik decorations and 90s -themed decorations! From now until May 8th, 2022; experience "Dreaming of Raya" at Main Place Mall, USJ 21. Enjoy the beautiful mosaic patterns and blooming flowers that surround the Mall’s indoor spaces. While you are at Main Place Mall USJ, don’t forget to take some interesting photos and share them with your loved ones!
10. IOI Mall Puchong
The much-awaited celebration has returned. From now until 8 May 2022, IOI Mall Puchong presents ‘Unique Eidulfitri’, to celebrate this festive season. The Mall is also organizing an online contest on their social media site, as well as various Hari Raya-themed activities at its Lower Ground-Centre Court. There are also plenty of stalls selling Raya items for you to shop here!
